After starting the 2014-15 English Premier League with a win, Arsenal will try to keep their good form against Everton, in what should be a difficult visit to Goodison Park, this Saturday at 12:30 PM ET.

The Gunners beat Crystal Palace 2-1 last weekend, but failed to beat Besiktas in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers on Tuesday.  Arsenal’s fans eager for a good team this season that can fight the top positions.

Coach Arsene Wegner looks for Jack Wilshare to take control of the midfield for Arsenal.

“Wilshere has paid the price for England not winning the World Cup! Before he was in [Calum] Chambers’ position, then suddenly when you get to 22, the expectation level comes on you. Rooney has gone through that, now Wilshere goes through it,” Wegner said.

“I believe at the moment he should not respond to it, just focus on his game. If Wilshere can maintain his physical fitness then, he will make a huge career. At the moment, I believe he should just focus on being fit, present and to improve physically. The rest will come along.”

Everton, on the other hand, drew against Leicester last weekend with a 2-2 result.

The two games between Arsenal and Everton last season ended with a three goals differential each, with wins by the home team. The soccer odds listed Everton +170 and Arsenal +160; plus the draw is at +240.

Arsenal hasn’t won at Goodison Park since the 2011/2012 season, when they won 0-1.
