Arsenal (+140) vs. Borussia Dortmund (+200) (Draw +260)

The two top teams in Group D will square-off tomorrow as undefeated Borussia Dortmund travel to Emirates Stadium in London to take on Arsenal (2:45 p.m. Eastern).

Arsenal and Dortmund have met seven times in the past and have split the all-time head-to-head, with three wins and one draw each. The last meeting was earlier in this Champions League season when the Germans won 2-0 at home.

With tomorrow’s match in London, the odds are fairly even. Arsenal is a slight favorite to win, listed at +140 in the moneyline. Meanwhile BVB is +200 and the draw +260.

This year has been a tale of two seasons for Borussia Dortmund. They have been terrible in the Bundesliga (16th in the table), yet are on top of their Champions League group. Indeed, they are a perfect 4-0-0 (for 12 points and a +12 goal differential) and their perfect record, so far, means they have already qualified for the Round of 16.

On the other side, the Gunners have seven points through four matches and sit second in the group. But they can’t help but feel like an opportunity slipped away last game: Arsenal was winning 3-0 against Anderlecht but wound up in a 3-3 draw. Luckily for Arsenal, they are five and six points clear of Anderlecht and Galatasaray, respectively. A win tomorrow would see them through to the Round of 16, as well.

According Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, the team needs to improved on its poor defensive performance from last game.

“We need everybody to step up. You want everybody to perform at their best. I believe defensively across the pitch we were very, very poor. We just came out of two clean sheets and thought maybe that we had the job done at 3-0,” said Wenger to the UEFA website.

Take Arsenal by one score.
