Liverpool (+180) vs. Arsenal (+150) (+240)

This Sunday, two of the most revered teams in the Premier League will go head to head as Arsenal hosts Liverpool at Anfield (11:00 p.m. Eastern).

Though they are the visitors, the Gunners are the slight favorites in the moneyline, listed at +150. The Reds are +180, and the draw +240.

Liverpool was eliminated from the UEFA Champions League and is currently in the bottom half of the EPL table. (Liverpool is 11th with 21 points (6-3-7) and a -3 goal differential.)

After such a disastrous start to the year, the Reds will be out for redemption in the second half of the Premier League season. Manager Brendan Rodgers is confident they have the ability to make it happen.

“To have the sort of invention in our game to create so many chances, you can see that the players are still very much working hard,” said Rodgers. “If you look at our record over the last 10 or 11 games, we haven’t scored in a lot of them. We’ve got to keep working, stay focused and make sure the group stays together, then take the confidence from our creativity into the game.”

On the other side, Arsenal is sixth in the table and aiming for the UEFA Champions League positions.  The Gunners have 26 points (7-5-4) and a +9 goal differential. However, the last six games haven’t gone as planned for Arsenal, with three wins and three losses over that stretch, including surprise setbacks to Swansea and Stoke.

Arsenal has dominated the recent head-to-head with Liverpool, though, with five wins, two losses, and seven draws in their last 14 Premier League meetings.

Give me the Gunners by a score.
