Manchester United (-330) vs. Hull City (+900) (Draw +450)

After a slow start to the year, Manchester United is now tied for fourth in the EPL table and sitting in one of the highly coveted Champions League positions. Tomorrow (Saturday, November 29), the Red Devils will host Hull City at Old Trafford.

Level on points with Newcastle and just one-up on Swansea and West Ham, Man United will likely need to take the full three points from Saturday’s match in order to stay in the top-four. The good news for Louis Van Gaal’s club is that Hull City have managed just two wins on the year, and won away from home since the first game of the year against last-place QPR.

In light of Hull’s struggles, the Devils are the heavy betting favorites, sitting at -333 in the moneyline; Hull is listed at +900, while the draw will pay +450.

Though it’s 13 points behind first-place Chelsea – and five behind third-place Man City – Manchester United’s 19 points has to be seen as a triumph at this point in the year. Short weeks ago, the Red Devils were buried in the middle of the Premier League pack and the criticism of Van Gaal was growing louder by the second.

However, United has won its last two matches, and is a solid 3-2-1 in its last six. Adding to the optimism at Old Trafford, Colombian striker Radamel Falcao will be back this weekend after missing four games with a calf injury. According to Falcao, he is fully fit.

“Back to training 100% and ready to help the team in the next games,” posted the player on his social media channels.

In contrast, Hull City is fighting to avoid relegation.  The Tigers are 17th in the table with only 11 points (2W, 5D, 5L); but they are only -3 in goals, and have played competitively all year.

On paper, a draw against United would be a great result for the Tigers. They have never won at Old Trafford and have failed to take even a single point from their last nine against the Red Devils.
