White Hart Lane is the field for the best game of the English Premier League third fixture as the Tottenham Hotspur takes on Liverpool, this Sunday at 8:30 AM ET, in what should be a tremendous encounter.

The Spurs lead the standings with six points in two games, along with five goals scored and none against.  They have been surprisingly good and will try to keep it this way against a tough opponent.

Tottenham is aware that striker Mario Balotelli could make his debut with Liverpool in this match.

“I haven’t an opinion about that,” the Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino said. “The only thing is that he is a very good player, a star. For England, for our football, it is important that star players come here.

“Mario Balotelli is an unbelievable player and he has very good skill. And, OK, it is important for football and for Liverpool, not for us.”

Liverpool lost 3-1 against Manchester City last week and will try to bounce back on a critical field.

“We have got a number of top-class players here and the star of this team will always be the team, so I don’t think they were climbing on the bins just to see him”, said Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers.

Liverpool hammered Tottenham twice last season, winning 0-5 at White Hart Lane and 4-0 in Anfield, a total of a smashing 9-0 overall result.

The EPL odds listed the Spurs +170 to win this match and the Red +180; the draw is at +260.
