March Madness – 5 Best College Basketball Fails
March Madness always creates some of the best sports highlights of the year. During and after every tourney, you will – paradoxically – see myriad “one shining moment” compilations from the three weeks of action. You’ll be treated to the best of the best from all 63 games.
But it’s a facade!
NCAA basketball isn’t always so sleek and shiny. (Remember that the vast majority of college ballers aren’t going pro – just over 1-percent, in fact.) And we here at SBD accept college hoops for what it is: an imperfect incarnation of the greatest sport on Earth which needs no editor’s airbrush.
So, in an effort to provide fair and balanced coverage (is that slogan taken?), we’re answering one shining moment with five thoroughly matte bloopers.
Enjoy!
#1: Alex Oriakhi seems like he’d be good at carnival games
I suppose this takes care of the “balanced” part of our coverage. (Rimshot!)
#2: Drake airballs it, probably had too much lint on his shorts
Ok, so this one doesn’t involve a collegiate athlete per se. But it’s still worth your time because it’s Drake sucking at things.
#3: Malcolm Grant wants to get (literally) all of his teammates involved
The guys on the bench are partly at fault. But Grant was still trying to pass to a guy well out of bounds. I’m no expert (JK, I totally am) but I don’t think that’s a good idea, in general.
#4: Doesn’t Chris Jones realize there’s going to be a replay?
Seriously. Why is he still trying to sell it?

#5: Sir’Dominic Pointer has angered some ghosts
Maybe it was The Sixth Man!
