Golden State Warriors at Cleveland Cavaliers (-3.5, 215.5 o/u)

Arguably the two best teams in the NBA will meet tonight as the Golden State Warriors head to Ohio to face the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena (8:00 p.m. Eastern).

The last time these teams met (Jan. 9), Golden State emerged with a 112-94 home win, led by Klay Thompson’s 24 points. However, Cleveland was playing without an injured LeBron James that night.

At 44-10 on the year, the Warriors own the best record in the NBA. Their offense is also tops in the association, averaging 110.3 PPG and 47.9-percent shooting. The team had a huge scare earlier in the week when point guard and leading scorer Steph Curry suffered a foot injury.

Curry sat out a 104-98 loss to the Pacers on Sunday, but returned on Tuesday to help Golden State down Washington, 114-107 (for their fifth win in six games). The Davidson product should be able to go tonight.

On the other side of the floor, the Cavs have also won five of their last six – including three straight road games – and now find themselves tied with the Bulls atop the Central Division at 36-22.

Against the Pistons on Tuesday, Kevin Love dropped eight treys en route to a 103-92 Cleveland win.

“Kevin had it going tonight, so I was looking to get him the ball … That’s how we play. Find the hot guy and keep him going,” James told the AP after the game.

Cleveland is a 3.5-point favorite for tonight’s game and the over/under is at 215.5.

In the trends, the total has gone over in seven of the last ten meetings between Cleveland and Golden State, but stayed under in two of the last three. Golden State has covered the in six of its last ten visits to Cleveland, and eight of its last ten overall against the Cavs.
