Los Angeles Clippers at Memphis Grizzlies (-5, 199 o/u)

The Los Angeles Clippers (37-21) and Memphis Grizzlies (41-15) will face off for the second time in less than a week tonight as Chris Paul and the Clips head to the FedEx Forum in Tennessee for an 8:00 p.m. (Eastern) tip.

On Monday, the Grizzlies edged L.A. at the STAPLES Center, 90-87, with Mike Conley scoring 18 points, and Jeff Green and Marc Gasol chipping in with 16 and 14 apiece. It was the second time this season Memphis has taken down the Clippers.

According to Gasol, defense was the key to success against a Clippers team averaging 106.9 points per game (second-best in the NBA).

“We held a team that likes to score a lot of points to 80-something points,” Gasol said. “We made enough plays defensively at the end of the game to stay on top.”

Clippers center DeAndre Jordan is eager to reverse his team’s fortunes in the rematch. “We had a chance to win it, but we’ll see them in a few days,” Jordan said.

But Jordan and company have not had much luck against Memphis of late. In the last ten head-to-head, the Clippers have just two wins and Memphis has covered in nine. Making matters worse for L.A., the team will once again have to get by without leading scorer Blake Griffin, who is still sidelined from elbow surgery.

The Grizzlies are five-point favorites for tonight’s game, and the over/under is at 199.
