The best matchup of the NFL week 5 has two of the best teams in the American Conference as the New England Patriots host the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday October 5th, at the Gillette Stadium at 8:30 PM ET, in a game broadcasted by NBC.

As mentioned in the Week 5 Betting outlook, the Patriots were four-point favorites in the NFL betting odds before the start of the season, but considering how things have gone over the last few weeks, now the Bengals are -2 point favorites.

New England has struggled on offense as they average 196.3 passing yards per game (ranked 26th), and 105 yards on the ground (ranked 22nd).

QB Tom Brady hasn’t been picked in the first three weeks of the season, but he hasn’t thrown more than one TD pass on each of those games.

“I don’t think anybody has really found their stride this year,” Brady told WEEI, via the Boston Herald. “I don’t know who you can point to on offense and say, ‘Wow, they’re really clicking.’”

“We’ve all got to figure out how to do a better job of that. It’s not one person. It’s not singling any person out to say, ‘Wow, if this person were out, or if this person were in.’ I mean, if we had 11 people on the field that were producing like Julian Edelman, we’d have a pretty good offense. We’ve got one guy.”

After three weeks the Bengals remain as the only team undefeated in the AFC after beating the Baltimore Ravens, the Atlanta Falcons and the Tennessee Titans.
