Week 6 in the NFL will be the second of October and you know what that means: Cancer Awareness all teams wearing pink, but reality tell us it could be the first time in the season where we can start separating pretenders from contenders.

The week will open with an AFC South matchup between the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts; perhaps, the two teams called to win the playoffs spot inside that division.

Seven of the 15 games in the week will be divisional matchups, including exciting matchups between the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills, and the NY Giants the Philadelphia Eagles, these last two, by the way, will clash on Sunday Night Football.

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos will go back to the stadium where they lost Super Bowl 48, but this time to take an inferior team like the New York Jets; Geno Smith will be under center for the NY, not Michael Vick.

Here are the current betting lines for the NFL week 6:

  • Indianapolis Colts (-2.5) at Houston Texans, Thursday
  • Detroit Lions (-3) at Minnesota Vikings
  • Green Bay Packers (-3) at Miami Dolphins
  • Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns (-2.5)
