The graphs have been generated by averaging the latest odds from our most trusted sportsbooks to help you better determine each team’s probability of coming out on top. Atlantic Division

• [March 2] As the Raps struggle with injuries and the Celtics surge, Boston is now odds-on favorites at average of -138
• [Feb 19] Toronto has become the odds-on favorite to win the division, now at an average of -123 to win another Atlantic crown
• [Feb 7] Following the deadline, Toronto has moved into pole position, at average odds of +105
• [Feb 4] It looks to be a two team race now between the defending champs & Boston, as the Celtics are currently +110 while the Raps are +140
• [Jan 29] Philly has fallen into third place, while the Raptors have pulled near even with the Celtics, at average odds of +158, while Boston is +150
• [Jan 15] The Celtics are now odds-on favorites in the Atlantic, at an average of +143
• [Jan 7] For the first time this season, Boston is now the favorite in the division with average odds of +115, as Philly’s losing streak has set them back to an average of +140
• [Dec 25] After beating the shorthanded Raptors on Christmas day, the Celtics average odds have reached +235, while Toronto has faded to +400
• [Dec 16] Following the Raptors small swoon over the past ten days, the Celtics have overtaken them for second place at average odds of +287
• [Dec 4] The Knicks odds have soared sky high, now at a pathetic average of +53333 to win the division
• [Nov 26] With the injury to Kemba Walker following his scary collision with a teammate in Denver, the Celtics have experienced a slight fade to +250 average odds
• [Nov 19] Boston keeps gaining ground on Philly, with average odds down to +180
• [Nov 13] Despite Gordon Hayward’s hand injury, the Celtics average odds have improved to +340
• [Nov 5] The Nets struggles out of the gate have tanked their odds, fading to an average of +1400
• [Oct 29] Toronto’s hot start has gotten them firmly in the discussion for the division, improving their average odds for +490
• [Oct 16] With Kevin Durant officially out for the season and uncertainty surrounding Kyrie Irving’s facial fracture, the Nets average odds have plummeted to +890
• [Sept 23] Boston has seen their average odds improve back to +400
• [Sept 4] The Raptors and Nets have both seen their average odds to win the division lengthen to +600
• [Aug 19] The Celtics have their average odds slightly improve over the past week, from +400 to +300
• [Aug 12] The 76ers are now odds-on to win the division, adjusting from +150 to -150
• [July 8] The 76ers have opened with the shortest odds following a tumultuous offseason in which Kyrie Irving and Al Horford bolted Boston and Kawhi Leonard spurned Toronto to return to his California roots

2020 Atlantic Division Odds

Central Division

• [March 2] Indiana soldiers on, but this division has long been wrapped up for the Bucks
• [Feb 19] Milwaukee remains the overwhelming favorite
• [Feb 7] Despite Andre Drummond swapping teams within division, it’s had no effect on the odds
• [Feb 4] No change in the odds since our last update
• [Jan 29] How big of a favorite can the Bucks become? They’re now -75000 on average to win the Central
• [Jan 15] With the division essentially wrapped up at average odds of -38333, it will be interesting to see how the Bucks manage their players down the stretch
• [Jan 7] Status quo holds, with the Bulls, Cavs and now Pistons all but eliminated from divisional contention
• [Dec 26] With Victor Oladipo set to return to the court in mid to late January, the Pacers average odds could be worth a play at +3033 if you like a big underdog
• [Dec 16] It’s all but a foregone conclusion the Bucks will wrap up this division, now at average odds of +13333
• [Dec 4] The Bucks are as strong a favorite as ever, now at average odds of -4300
• [Nov 26] Any chance Detroit had is all but over, as their average odds have faded to +6900
• [Nov 19] Indiana’s odds continue to fade, now at an average of +750
• [Nov 13] The Bulls are the new owners of the worst average odds in division, sitting at +8300 after their dismal start
• [Nov 5] No change in hierarchy in the Central division, as the Bucks remain heavy favorites with average odds of -830
• [Oct 29] Detroit has experienced the most movement in the Central through the first week, seeing their average odds shorten to +2400
• [Oct 16] The Pacers average odds have shortened once again with the season tipping off next week, to an average of +560
• [Sept 23] Milwaukee has become an even heavier favorite, as their average odds are now -1100
• [Sept 4] Indiana’s average odds have fallen to +600, as the Bucks are now extremely heavy favorites with an average of -950
• [Aug 19] Milwaukee’s average odds have slightly fallen back towards the pack at -400
• [Aug 12] The Bucks, who had average odds of -350 to win the division at open, are now a huge -800
• [July 8] Milwaukee may have come up short in the playoffs, but oddsmakers believe they’ll win the Central Division for the second straight season after finishing with 60 wins in 2018-19.

2020 Central Division Odds

 

Southeast Division

• [March 2] Ditto for the Central in the Southeast, as Miami’s had it wrapped up for a long time
• [Feb 19] Miami remains an overwhelming favorite heading out of the All-Star break
• [Feb 7] No change in the hierarchy to the Southeast post deadline, as the Heat add Andre Iguodala, Jae Crowder & Solomon Hill
• [Feb 4] Miami has become an even heavier favorite, now at -100000
• [Jan 29] Orlando continues to fallback in the “race”, now at an average of +2500
• [Jan 15] The Heat stranglehold continues, at average odds of -13833
• [Jan 7] Miami’s all but locked up the division now, with average odds of -7667
• [Dec 26] Atlanta’s fall continues, now with the worst average odds in division at +33333
• [Dec 16] The Miami Heat have strengthened their grip on the division, at average odds of -2767 to lock up the top spot
• [Dec 4] Atlanta’s steady fall has continued, now at average odds of +6700
• [Nov 26] The Heat keep on strengthening their grip, now all the way down to average odds of -800
• [Nov 19] After Atlanta’s disappointing road trip out west, their average odds have fallen to +1800
• [Nov 13] Miami has continued their stranglehold on the division, now at average odds of -290
• [Nov 5] With Trae Young nursing injuries and John Collins suspended for 25 games, the Hawks average odds have fallen to +990
• [Oct 29] Miami has established themselves as the odds-on favorite, at -140 average odds
• [Oct 16] The Hawks hype train continues rolling, as their average odds have once again shortened to +590
• [Sept 23] Atlanta’s average odds have shortened a week ahead of training camp, settling at +690
• [Sept 4] The Magic’s average odds have slightly improved to an average of +160, as the division’s challenger to the Heat
• [Aug 19] The top three in the division stayed the course, while the Hornets (+2500) and Wizards (+1600) average odds have shortened some despite still being distant long shots
• [Aug 12] The Miami Heat have moved into odds-on territory at -130
• [July 8] Miami added four-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler in the offseason and they may not be done yet. The Heat are rumored to be the preferred destination of Oklahoma City point guard Russell Westbrook, who may be on the move after the Thunder traded Paul George.

2020 Southeast Division Odds

Northwest Division

• [March 2] Denver has taken authority within division, now average favorites at -275 to win the division
• [Feb 19] The Nuggets are holding onto favorite position coming out of the break, at average odds of -132
• [Feb 7] OKC continue to see their odds improve, now at an average of +1125 to pull off what would be a stunner in the Northwest
• [Feb 4] The seesaw continues, as Denver returns to poll position at -135, while Utah takes a slight fade to +103
• [Jan 29] Utah has now overtaken the Nuggets on average as the Jazz have been running hot heading towards the trade deadline, and are now -160
• [Jan 15] Denver continues to hold serve, but this is one of the most entertaining divisional races in the league as we go deeper into 2020
• [Jan 7] OKC’s recent run of strong play have made them a darkhorse to potentially steal the division, at average odds of +2200
• [Dec 26] Denver continues to strengthen their grip on the division, now at average odds of -177
• [Dec 16] Minnesota has completely fallen off, now down to average odds of +9333
• [Dec 4] Portland has bounced back with Carmelo Anthony having a strong week, steadying their average odds to +1700
• [Nov 26] The Trail Blazers struggles have continued, as their fade continues to average odds of +1900
• [Nov 19] Denver is now the odds-on favorite in the Northwest, at average odds of -120
• [Nov 13] Portland has seen their average odds crater, now down to +1000 after being at +580 last week
• [Nov 5] Minnesota has seen their standing in the market improve after their solid start, shortening their average odds to +2600
• [Oct 29] Denver has overtaken the Jazz following the season’s first week, now at average odds of +120
• [Oct 16] Oklahoma City’s odds have shortened from their offseason worst, now at an average of +9600.
• [Sept 23] The Nuggets average odds have slightly improved to +145, while Utah’s average odds took a slight dip to +120
• [Sept 4] The Jazz remain the favorite in the division, with average odds of +110
• [Aug 19] While Denver and Utah remain favorites, Portland has seen their average odds dip to +600
• [Aug 12] The Thunder’s odds have tumbled hard this past month from +1200 to +8500
• [July 8] The Jazz are expected to make sweet music in 2019-20 after adding Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic to a talented core that won 50 games a year ago.

2020 Northwest Division Odds

Pacific Division

• [March 2] With both teams making their final tweaks with the postseason nearing, the Pacific is all but a lock for the Lakers to win
• [Feb 19] The Lakers remain overwhelming favorites at average odds of -467 to win the division
• [Feb 7] The Clippers won the battle of LA for Marcus Morris, but the Lakers still remain favorites on average, at -240
• [Feb 4] Down to a two-team race, the Lakers are now at an average of -313 while the Clippers will need a major 2nd half push at +200
• [Jan 29] It will take a miraculous Clippers run to get them back in the race, as their average odds have fallen to +210 while the Lakers sit at -325
• [Jan 15] LAL are holding the crown currently, at average odds of -263
• [Jan 7] The Clippers have struggled when Kawhi Leonard sits with load management, and it’s shown in their average odds, which now sit at +140
• [Dec 26] Despite the two wins over the Lakers this season, LAC still lags behind their Staples Center co-tenants, with average odds of -106, while LAL sits at -137
• [Dec 16] As the Lakers continue their run at the top of the league, their odds for the division continue to shorten, to an average of -175
• [Dec 4] The battle of Los Angeles is in full effect, with average odds now at -120 for the Clippers and -110 for the Lakers
• [Nov 26] After hitting their best average odds of the young season last week, the Suns have faded back to an average of +3800
• [Nov 19] The Clippers average odds are coming back to the pack, now at -170
• [Nov 13] Golden State’s average odds have hit rock bottom, now at +5500, tied with the lowly Kings
• [Nov 5] Phoenix is improving rapidly, with their average odds now +4500 after an impressive first two weeks of play
• [Oct 29] LAC’s win over the Lakers put them in the driver’s seat in this division, with average odds of -195 heading into the second week of the year
• [Oct 16] The Warriors continue to lurk as dark horses in the division, now at average odds of +440
• [Sept 23] Golden State’s average odds have dipped back down since the summer, now at +500
• [Sept 4] With Dwight Howard brought into the fold to replace Cousins, the Lakers average odds improved to +240
• [Aug 19] Golden State’s average odds have improved to +350 in the wake of DeMarcus Cousins injury, while the Lakers have fallen back to +300
• [Aug 12] The Clippers keep getting the respect of bettors, now as -160 favorites
• [July 8] Oddsmakers believe the Los Angeles Clippers will finally get a proper Hollywood ending after acquiring Kawhi Leonard and Paul George during the offseason. The duo join a feisty young team that went 48-34 last year and pushed the Warriors to six games in the opening round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs.

2020 Pacific Division Odds

Southwest Division

• [March 2] It’s down to a two team race, but Houston looks to have a firm grasp at average odds of -400 to win it
• [Feb 19] Barring a strong run from the Mavs, the Rockets should be able to hold onto the division in the season’s second half
• [Feb 7] Houston may have eschewed a typical center with their moves at the deadline, but they’re still rock solid -250 average favorites within division
• [Feb 4] The Mavs are now +143, as they look to hold serve while Luka Doncic sits out with injury
• [Jan 29] The Grizzlies are continuing their ascent in the division, now at an average of +3750
• [Jan 15] Memphis saw some positive movement after their recent run of play, at average odds of +16667
• [Jan 7] The Pelicans average odds have fallen into last place, despite Zion Williamson’s eventual return later this month
• [Dec 26] With Luka Doncic set to return to the floor tonight, hitting the Mavericks average odds of +190 might present your best value the rest of the season in the Southwest
• [Dec 16] Dallas’ average odds have yet to take a hit, but with Luka Doncic out at least two weeks they will be luckily to hold onto their current number at +192
• [Dec 4] New Orleans average odds have faded to +9200 with Zion’s absence continuing and the team struggling
• [Nov 26] Dallas has fought their way back, to average odds of +370, while the Rockets came back to earth now with average odds of -370
• [Nov 19] Houston is now a runaway favorite, with average odds of -930
• [Nov 13] The Mavs continue to improve as Luka Doncic’s MVP-contending campaign rolls along, up to average odds of +630
• [Nov 5] Dallas has improved their average odds to +800 with Doncic and Porzingis clicking
• [Oct 29] Westbrook and Harden have impressed bettors through the season’s first week, now at average odds of -330
• [Oct 16] Houston holds steady as a heavy division favorite, with average odds of -270, as Westbrook and Harden prepare for their first season back as teammates
• [Sept 23] Dallas’ average odds continue to lengthen, now at +900
• [Sept 4] The Pelicans average odds slightly improved to +930
• [Aug 19] No hierarchy change in average odds amongst teams in the Southwest
• [Aug 12] Big movement on the Spurs from +700 to +400
• [July 8] The Rockets have opened with the shortest odds to win the Southwest Division, but they may also be the team with the shortest fuse. Chris Paul and James Harden are no longer on speaking terms and 90% of the roster has been dangled in trades. They’ll beat up on their fair share of teams, but they may also beat up each other before the season is done.
