Most of the heavy lifting has been done by Stephen Curry, who is tops on the Warriors with 28.6 points per game on 48.0% shooting, and Kevin Durant, who is chipping in 27.5 points per game. The Jazz will have to work hard to limit both players tonight.
Defensively, the Warriors are giving up 111.5 points per game and are 25th in field goals allowed and 13th in three-pointers surrendered. They’re letting opponents shoot 45.0% from the floor and 35.0% from beyond the arc.
These two clubs have met two times this season, with the Jazz winning once. The last time they faced off on December 20th, 2018, Utah won 108- 103 behind 20 points from Joe Ingles.
The Jazz are fresh off a 125-105 win against the Spurs in Utah in which they dished out 29 dimes and had seven steals. Donovan Mitchell torched the Spurs for 23 points. The Warriors, meanwhile, are coming off of a 118-120 win vs the Heat in Miami in which they were 13 for 36 from deep were out-rebounded 61-45.
Overall, the Jazz have won seven of their previous ten games and are sixth in the Western Conference, while the Warriors have lost one of their last ten and are first in the Western Conference.
The 8.5-point spread isn’t the only angle you can take advantage of. Bookmakershave also set a high over/under total of 229. Bear in mind that Utah is 28-26-2 against the spread this year and 29-27-0 over/under, compared to 24-30-1 ATS and 30-25-0 over/under for Golden State.
