On the flip side, Indiana ranks 16th league-wide in offensive rating. The Pacers are averaging 108.2 points per game on 45.0% shooting and are 24th in rebounds and seventh in assists.
Much of their offense lately has been generated by Bojan Bogdanovic, who is chipping in 17.8 points per game. The Thunder will have their hands full with him.
The Pacers are giving up 103.9 points per game at the other end of the court and are 25th in field goals allowed and 12th in three-pointers surrendered. Opponents are shooting 45.0% from the floor and 35.0% from beyond the arc against them this year.
Add it all up and we could be in for a roller coaster of a game tonight.
This is the first time this season these two teams have met, but they’ve both been active lately.
The Thunder are fresh off a 98-89 win against the Jazz in Utah. Dennis Schroder paced the team with 24 points. The Pacers are fresh off of a 98-103 win to the Knicks in New York in which they were 8 for 28 from deep and were out-rebounded 55-49.
All told, the Thunder have won four of their previous ten games and are fourth in the Western Conference, while the Pacers have have come out on the losing end of five of their previous ten and are fourth in the Eastern Conference.
The 1.0-point spread isn’t the only angle you can take advantage of. Online sportsbooks have also set a high over/under total of 222. Bear in mind that Oklahoma City is 35-32-0 against the spread this year and 33-34-0 over/under, compared to 34-34-0 ATS and 29-39-0 over/under for Indiana.
