A tremendous game in the Western Conference takes the stage as the Phoenix Suns take on the Los Angeles Clippers, this Monday at 10:30 PM ET at Staples Center.

After losing two in a row, the Clippers came back to the victory road by beating the Utah Jazz 98-90 on Saturday; Blake Griffin had 40 points and 10 rebounds in that one.

“I looked at the stat sheet after the game, and I said, `Wow, he had 40.’ I think his confidence right now is pretty high, and rightfully so,” Clippers guard Chris Paul said. “It’s great to see how he’s dominated games, whether he’s taking jump shots, posting up or going to the free throw line. It’s fun to watch. I wouldn’t know how to guard him.”

The Suns are 18-11 this season and have been playing good basketball early in the season.

“Man, I’m excited,” Paul said of facing Eric Bledsoe, his friend and former teammate. “I text Bled all the time, even now during the season when I’m watching him play on League Pass. … It’s gonna be fun. Bled is unbelievable right now. He’s better now than he was last year, playing with a lot of confidence, so we’re gonna compete.”

Phoenix is 10-3-1 ATS in its last 14 games on the road. The LA Clippers are 6-12 ATS in their last 18 games when playing Phoenix.

The NBA odds have the Clippers as 8 point favorites for Monday’s matchup.
