Great teams will clash this Sunday as group G and H goes back to action; Belgium is one of the most interesting teams in the tournament, and Portugal is facing elimination.

Here are the picks for the World Cup Day 11:

Belgium vs Russia, Group H

Belgium vs. Russia is without a doubt the best game of group H, both Europeans teams are expected to be in the next round over South Korea and Algeria, but the debut was different for the two.  Belgium suffered to beat Algeria 2-1, and Russia drew against South Korea in the last minutes.

Belgium is the favorite listed -105 to win, but Russia, a team managed by the Italia Fabio Capello is discipline on defends and is listed +340 to win.

Russia was questioning the form of goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, who made a terrible mistake in the game against South Korea that cost his team a goal against.

“Goalkeepers can make mistakes like any other player and it happened to a great champion like Igor Akinfeev,” said coach Capello. “Fortunately we were able to make up for his mistake.”

Best Pick: Belgium.

South Korea vs Algeria, Group H

These two are perhaps performing in the least sexy game of the tournament, but that’s not a good reason to not bet on this match.

South Korea is the favorite in this game rated at +140 to win and Algeria is +229.

“Now is not the time for crying, this match is decisive,” Coach Vahid Halilhodzic, the 62-year-old noted disciplinarian said after his team, Algeria, lost in the last minutes against Belgium.

Algeria won 1-0 the only game they have played against South Korea, 1-0.

“Despite the loss we have a solid team and don’t forget we put Belgium, one of the best sides in Europe, under pressure,” said Algeria captain Madjid Bougherra.

Best Pick: South Korea.

USA vs Portugal, Group G

After Germany and Ghana drew on Saturday, Portugal and USA will clash on Monday.  The Portuguese need a win or they would be eliminated, and team USA needs not to lose in order to have a great chance in the last game against Germany.

Cristiano Ronaldo is fit and ready to play despite the problems he had over the last month with injuries; against Germany, in the first game, he didn’t look injured but his team played a horrible game that ended with a 4-0 loss.

“I’m not a doctor but from what I see, Cristiano Ronaldo is fine,” midfielder Miguel Veloso told reporters after a training session in Campinas. “He is training, he is jumping and he is shooting. There is not much else to say.”

Team USA beat Ghana against all odds, and is in a good position to advance to the next round; if they are able to get one point they will have good odds to make it to the next round.

“I don’t think so,” midfielder Graham Zusi said about losing Jozy Altidore due to an injury. “We have guys who can fill in that spot. Our depth was tested yesterday and it proved to be very good for us. We have guys who can fill that spot and do the same job Jozy can.”

Best Pick: draw.
