After getting owned by the New York Rangers at home, the Montreal Canadiens look to bounce back this Monday at 8 PM ET, when game two of NHL Eastern Conference Finals goes underway at the Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The Canadiens fell hard on Saturday 7-2 as the Rangers high power offense seemed too much for them.

“It was an emotional time for everyone, but the guys have been behind me and supported me,” said Martin St. Louis, who named the game’s first star. “My teammates are behind me and supporting me, and their effort was unbelievable. We feel really close right now and we’re trying to keep feeding off that.”

To make it worse, the Montreal Canadiens will be without star goaltender Carey Price for the rest of the Eastern Conference finals.

“Really disappointed,” Canadiens coach Michel Therrien said. “He’s our best player.”

“That’s the truth,” said Therrien when affirmed Chris Kreider play was reckless. “And Kreider, that’s not the first time he’s going at goalies. So we end up losing our best player, but our group faced a lot of adversity throughout the course of the season. We have the attitude to respond really well, and that’s what I’m expecting.”

For game two this Monday, the NHL odds have Canadiens as 1.5 point favorites in the puck line and the game total is at 5.  The money line has Montreal as -104 and the Rangers as -106.
