After starting out with two losses, the Indianapolis Colts (2-2) are starting to show everybody why they were picked to win the AFC South. However, it hasn’t been easy with the team’s defense often on the ropes.

The saving grace is naturally Andre Luck, who in his third season is showing the kind of development a No. 1 pick needs to become an elite player.

Over the last two weeks, Luck’s offense has topped 40 points. More importantly, if he keeps performing at his current pace he’ll end the season with 5,220 passing yards and 52 TDs. Mind you, that’s without a solid running game.

Said Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, “He’s in the zone right now. Anytime you go out there and play fast and you’re not thinking, usually the result is the numbers, you know the yards and touchdowns he’s producing right now.”

That Luck zone will be tested by the tough Baltimore Ravens (3-1), which so far hasn’t let any of the team’s off-field distractions affect the on-field play.

Said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, “I would have to say that I was impressed with it before all this came about. Sometimes they say football reveals character. It’s galvanized us in some ways. We’ve been through a fire. It either makes you or breaks you. I feel good about that.”

The Ravens-Colts match-up could end up being the best game of the week, with both squads producing at a high level. Considering the offensive firepower, look for this game to hit the over.
