Cincinnati Bengals (-1, 46 o/u) at New England Patriots

This week’s Sunday night game features two teams at different ends of the spectrum.

The first of which is the Cincinnati Bengals (3-0), which despite consistently getting to the playoffs (and winning the AFC North last season), continues to seek respect in the NFL.

Said offensive lineman Andre Whitworth, “Over the last couple of years we’ve been winning the games like that, the ones we’re supposed to win. It’s more the big games we haven’t shown up as well. We started our year (against the Ravens) and we did show. That was taking another step and we have to be ready to take another step in New England.”

Andy Dalton and the Bengals will be taking on a struggling New England Patriots (2-2), which is coming off an embarrassing loss this past Monday night against the Chiefs. Questions are flying all around Foxborough whether Tom Brady is done and has Bill Belichick reached a point of no return this season.

Said Brady, “Like (Belichick) always says, ignore the noise and just stay focused on what we need to do, stay focused on what our process is to try to make the improvement. We’ve got an important job to do this week and the clock is ticking.”

In the past, the Patriots have won these type of stop-the-bleeding games, but this year it does seem different. Plus, it won’t be easy against the Bengals defense, which is why the under could be the right move here.
