Barstool’s $1,000 Risk-Free Bet Details

This offer is a lot like the sign-up offers offered by FanDuel and DraftKings, but better in one important way. (We’ll get there.)

This promotion is open to all new customers making a first-time deposit. After depositing, the first real-money wager each customer makes qualifies as their risk-free bet. If that wager is graded as a loss, Barstool will refund the customer’s account with money equal to the amount of the wager up to $1,000.

At most sportsbooks, the bonus funds are paid as free bets, which means you can make wagers with the funds, but if the wagers win, you only get the profit put into your account. Your stake is not returned.

That’s not the case at Barstool. If your risk-free bet loses, they put cash back in your account. Note that there are restrictions on when you can withdraw said cash, but it functions like real money when placing/winning wagers.

MLB Postseason Parlay Insurance Details

This is a much smaller promo, but it’s available to all customers, new and old. Until at least Sunday, October 10th, customers can make a four-plus-leg MLB parlay (or more) and have 50% of their stake refunded if one or two of the legs lose.

All legs of the parlay must have odds of -200 or longer. The total odds of the parlay must be +500 or greater. The maximum refund for this promotion is $25, so if you wager $50 on the parlay, you are maxing  out the available refund.

Barstool’s “Brandon Versus” College Football Contest

This promo pits bettors against Barstool oddsmaker Brandon Walker. Walker chooses five ATS or totals bets for each week’s NCAA football games. Another Barstool employee (this week, it’s Kelly In Vegas) chooses five of their own wagers. Customers then wager on who will finish the week with a better betting record: Brandon or his opponent. Both are available at -110 odds.

This contest is running all year and, the more weeks you opt in, the bigger your potential bonus at the end of the season if Brandon finishes the year with a losing record against his weekly opponents.

Terms and Conditions Applicable to All Promos

All Barstool promos are subject to the following T&Cs:

  • Customers must be 21 years of age or older at the time of registration.
  • Customers must be resident in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, or Virginia
