Eimantas Stanionis Quest to Stay Unbeaten

Stanionis represented Lithuania in the 2016 Olympics and now has a spotless professional record across ten outings. He has back-to-back stoppage victories in the first and third rounds respectively.

Eimantas Stanionis is undefeated for a reason but many of Deloach’s significant wins have come against pugilists with previously unblotted records (Dillon Cook, Junior Castillo, etc). The parity in this bout seems to be motivating Stanionis a tremendous amount in fight camp.

Former USBA super welterweight champion Justin DeLoach has more than twice the professional experience of his opponent Stanionis.

Justin Deloach’s Aim to Halt Another Unbeaten Fighter

DeLoach is 3-3 across his last six, but his pro resume reads much better than Stanionis’ overall. For example, DeLoach has fought opposition like former multi-promotional super welterweight world champion Jeison Rosario.

Justin DeLoach’s last bout was certainly one for the highlight reel. He scored a first-round KO of previously unbeaten prospect Livan Navarro.

Stanionis has a seventy percent stoppage rate overall while DeLoach is at just over fifty percent. That being said, Justin DeLoach has a noticeable five-inch reach advantage.

As much as this is marked a step up in competition for Stanionis, I think he’ll rise to the occasion against DeLoach.

This one is scheduled for ten rounds, but I don’t think this one goes to the judges’ scorecards.

I foresee Eimantas Stanionis scoring the stoppage victory in either the fifth or sixth round when DeLoach goes down.

Pick: Eimantas Stanionis (-500)

Chordale Booker vs Sanny Duversonne Best Bet

Duversonne started his career going an inauspicious 1-0-2 before embarking on a ten fight win streak. His last outing broke that streak and marked the first pro loss of his career.

Sanny Duversonne was bested by Lorenzo Simpson via unanimous decision in October and returns to the ring less than one month later.

Chordale Booker has never tasted defeat as a pro and had a strong amateur run prior to that 2016 transition to the professional ranks. In his last bout, he captured his most meaningful win when Booker defeated seasoned veteran Wale Omotoso via unanimous decision in May 2019.

Booker has been out of the ring for close to a year and a half but is still very much a well regarded super welterweight prospect.

The sizable underdog Duversonne has a cartoonish ten-inch reach advantage over the heavily favored Booker. The quality of competition is not even close. Duversonne has mostly taken on sluggers who’ve lost the majority of their fights.

This co-feature is scheduled for eight rounds, and I think it will ultimately go the distance.

Booker has seven stoppages across fifteen pro wins with most finishes coming against opponents with losing records. I see Chordale Booker winning this prizefight via lopsided decision.

Pick: Chordale Booker (-3300)
