Galatasaray host Chelsea in one of the most intriguing matchups of the UEFA Champions League round of 16, this Wednesday at 14:45 PM ET at the Türk Telekom Arena, in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Turks were second in Group B only behind Real Madrid, and beating Juventus in a surprising manner.  Now Galatasaray looks to shock Chelsea in the second round.

“We don’t have a lot of chance, even at home,” the Italian coach Roberto Mancini, who has been in charge of the Turkish club since September said.

“Chelsea is better, one of the best teams in Europe. But for Galatasaray to just play Chelsea is an important moment and we need to do a good job.”

Chelsea leads the English Premier League standings and beat Everton 1-0 during the weekend, but they have problems scoring goals week in and week out.

“The problem with Chelsea is we lack a scorer,” the Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho said in footage captured by French TV station Canal Plus. “I have one (Samuel Eto’o), but he’s 32. Maybe 35, who knows?.”

Chelsea beat Galatasaray 6-0 in in aggregate result in the 1999/2000 season; they haven’t met since.

Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba played the majority of his career with Chelsea, winning the Champions League in 2012.

“People know how much I love the club and the fans. “I can’t forget what I’ve done there and all the memories of the club. Chelsea will always have a special place in my heart. And in my life”, he said.

The moneyline has Galatasaray listed +300; Chelsea -105 and the draw +230.
