Brazil had a brilliant start and Mexico played horribly, once again; both teams will clash this Wednesday at 3 PM ET at Castelao stadium in Brazil, for Group A of the Confederations Cup.

If Mexico losses they are gone from the cup, and probably their coach Jose Manuel de la Torre.  The Mexican lost to Italy 2-1, and a defeat to Brazil will send them home.

A lot of people are questioning the fact that Mexico doesn’t have a playmaker that can change the way the team plays.  Carlos Vela is a striker that had the best season of all, but he doesn’t want to play with the national.

“Carlos Vela does nothing, absolutely nothing because to be in these there are three important aspects, power, knowledge and love. Everyone can if he is physically fine, but if you don’t want, the other two do not work”, said coach De La Torre.

Brazil, on the other hand, beat Japan 3-0 in the first fixture and looked good enough to make a run at this title.

“I believe what pleased me most was the result,” said coach Luiz Felipe Scolari. “If we can keep evolving tactically, and the players can deal with whatever gets thrown at them, then we can be a great team.

“I think Neymar did a really great job — he went off as he took a knock,” Scolari added.

Brazil is a huge favorite -270 in the moneyline; a Mexico win pays +600 and the draw +325.
