Game of Thrones Odds: Who Dies, Who Thrives in Season 7?

Winter is coming, but so far it has been hard for the Game of Thrones production to find snow, not Jon Snow, but the real, actual snow they need to film.

The regular April release will be delayed in 2017 and that will cause some spring time withdrawal symptoms. Lucky for you, we’re right on schedule with our Season 7 predictions, so you won’t have to wait for the show to learn the fate of your favorite characters (much like we gave you the jump during Season 6).

Before we go any further, let me state the obvious: spoiler alert! I’ll be discussing everything that’s happened up to the end of Season 6. (If you haven’t watched the show but are still reading this, you are an odd duck.)

The upcoming season – the second-last in the series – will only feature seven episodes but should be action-packed with naval wars, treachery, revenge, and white walkers. There isn’t much time left before we finally find out who will win The Iron Throne once and for all.

Below is my Game of Thrones Death Pool with a plethora of major and minor characters we see getting a sword to the face (or something even more violent).

Don’t fret at the length of the list. Death is a way of life in Westeros, and there are still a lot of lovable characters that might actually survive this time around. (All bets are off for Season 8, of course. In the long run, nobody is safe on this show.)

Side note: Wouldn’t it be kind of funny if, after all these years, the white walkers just strolled in and killed everyone? The end. (Not a bad theory actually. George Martin has been beating us over the head with the “winter is coming” warning since day one.)

Know what else is coming? The odds. Right now!

Game of Thrones Death Pool Odds

The odds below are each character’s chances of being offed in Season 7. After six seasons of killing characters seemingly at random, it’s hard to make anyone’s odds terribly long. But I’ve separated the characters into tiers, starting with the most likely to die and ending with the least likely.
