WWE’s Tables, Ladders & Chairs (“TLC”) pay-per-view heads to Cleveland on December 14. The card is still being flushed out, but we already know that TLC 2014 will feature two matches of significant interest. Bray Wyatt takes on Dean Ambrose in a TLC match, while Ryback and Kane will go at it in a chairs match. This is the final major card for WWE until January’s Royal Rumble in Philadelphia.

Wyatt beat Ambrose via disqualification at the Survivor Series last month. Ambrose was DQ’ed after hitting Wyatt with a chair and then throwing him through a table. Afterwards, Ambrose threw chairs on Wyatt, and stood on top of a ladder. It was announced shortly after the incident that the two would fight at TLC.

The bad blood between Ambrose and Wyatt goes back to Hell in a Cell in October. Ambrose was poised to beat Seth Rollins, but Wyatt appeared and blindsided Ambrose, allowing Rollins to pin Ambrose and then use his finisher on his rival. Over the next several weeks, Wyatt taunted Ambrose saying that he would fix him like he had Harper and Rowan.

Ambrose is a 2/5 favorite to avenge his defeat.

What seemed like a petty fight between Ryback and Kane has escalated into a rivalry of sorts. Last month on Raw, Kane tossed a hot dog at Ryback leading to a scuffle. A few days later on Smackdown, Ryback was fighting Seth Rollins when Kane attacked him. After Kane hit Ryback with a chair, it was announced they’d fight on TLC in a chairs match.

Though Kane has been a champion many times, and has seen and done just about everything in the sport, Ryback is a loose cannon who is willing to try anything and offend anyone in order to get ahead. Kane is a 1/5 favorite thanks to experience and his ability to summon a top effort when needed.

It was also just announced that John Cena will battle Seth Rollins in a tables match, Eric Rowan and the Big Show will annihilate each other in a steel chairs match, and Luke Harper and Dolph Ziggler will square off in a ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship.
