The 2013-2014 UEFA Europa League will come to an end this Wednesday when Sevilla and Benfica clash at Juventus Stadium for the trophy, at 14:45 PM ET.

Benfica eliminated the favorite Juventus in the semifinals and now are set to take their first European title since 1962. The Portuguese lost the final last season against Chelsea and want payback.

“We have been working on this project for five years,” coach Jorge Jesus told a press conference at the Juventus stadium where the final will be played. “We haven’t just reached this point by chance We feel that our work has been rewarded by getting to these finals. We always work towards getting to these big finals and it’s very satisfying.”

Sevilla suffered to be here; they had to overcome a 0-2 deficit against Betis, and scored a late goal in the semifinals against Valencia; they know they are not the favorites.

“I respect people’s feelings but I am prudent. Benfica has reasons to be favourites, but we have reasons to be confident in our team,” Sevilla coach Unai Emery said.

“Being objective, the favorites to win the Europa League were Juventus, and the team that eliminated Juventus are Benfica, so that would logically mean that they are the team to beat. But that doesn’t change our belief in that we are capable of overcoming them. What I can say clearly is that both teams deserve to be finalists.

The Europa League money line has Benfica +125, and Sevilla +205; the draw over 120 minutes is +225.
