Odds as of May 27th

Dinos Offense Looking to Feast Again

The Dinos racked up 13 hits in Wednesday’s outing and have now scored 27 times in their last three games.

Their 16 wins are three more than anyone else, and Wednesday’s win clinched their sixth series victory already in 2020.

NC’s opponent, Kiwoom, dropped its third straight game Wednesday and has a -14 run differential over that stretch.

They’ll trot out Dae Hyun Jung for his first start of the season Thursday, and he doesn’t exactly own a sparkling resume. The 28-year-old lefty has a 6.63 ERA and 1.78 WHIP in eight career KBO seasons and has produced a quality start in just 21% of his outings.

The Dinos average margin of victory over their last five wins is 5.2 and they should have no problem covering the 1.5 spread in this one.

Pick: NC Dinos -1.5 (+105)

Tigers Bounce Back in a Big Way

Prior to Wednesday’s shutout loss, the KIA Tigers had been one of the hottest teams in the league. They’d won six of seven and were steadily climbing the KBO standings after a disappointing start to the season.

The offense will look to rebound Thursday and should have plenty of opportunity versus KT Wiz starter Hyeong Jun So. The right-hander gave up eight runs last time out versus light hitting Hanwha and has a measly six strikeouts in three starts in 2020.

His counterpart Hyun Jong Yang has been outstanding this season, allowing just four runs total in his last three outings. The KBO lefty is in his 14th year with KIA and owns double-digit wins in each of his last six seasons.

Pick: KIA Tigers -1.5 (+100)

A Scoring Spree Between SK and Doosan

Betting overs in Doosan games has been incredibly profitable this season and Thursday’s game versus SK sets up as another high scoring affair.

The Bears will send Yong Chan Lee to the mound, who’s been one of the worst starters in the KBO. The 31-year-old righty has allowed 18 runs in three starts this season, and last time out gave up 10 hits and four runs in 5.2 innings versus Samsung.

The Wyverns will counter with Geon Wook Lee, who will be making his first career start. Lee’s longest career outing in the KBO is 2.1 innings, and a short start versus the high powered Bears will put loads of pressure on a weak SK bullpen. Just two nights ago, Wyverns relievers wasted a fantastic outing by Jong Hoon Pak, blowing a 4-1 lead in the 8th, en route to a 6-4 defeat.

Pick: Over 11.5 (-120)
