All odds as of April 21st.

Prop #1: Trevor Rogers Over 7.5 Strikeouts

The first prop to attack is over 7.5 strikeouts for Miami’s Trevor Rogers. The odds are very favorable (+168) and it’s a number the 23-year-old can definitely eclipse. Rogers has a K/9 rate of 13.8 through three starts, and ranks in the 93rd percentile in whiff rate.

The southpaw has increased his fastball velocity from 93.6 mph in 2020 to 95.2 mph this season, and is just one start removed from a 10-strikeout performance in just 6 innings of work.

Rogers’ opponent Baltimore meanwhile, has struck out 171 times already in 2021, the fifth most in MLB, and has a 30.6% K rate versus left-handed pitchers.

Pick: Trevor Rogers Over 7.5 Strikeouts (+168)

Prop #2: Carlos Correa 2+ Hits

No park in baseball is as friendly to hitters as Coors Field in Colorado, and we’re getting a great price on Houston’s Carlos Correa to record 2 or more hits (+175). The 26-year-old leads the Astros in total bases and has recorded at least one hit in all but three games this season.

He’s batting .357 versus lefties and Rockies’ southpaw Austin Gomber isn’t a pitcher to fear. The 27-year-old has below average velocity (91.7 mph) and was hit hard by LA last time out. He’s never faced Houston, but owns a career 1.46 WHIP at home, averaging a hit allowed per inning.

Pick: Carlos Correa 2+ Hits (+175)
