All odds as of April 12th
Yu Da Man
Yu Darvish of the San Diego Padres has made two starts early in the 2021 season. He struck out six Arizona Diamondbacks in his season debut. Darvish followed up by fanning seven San Francisco Giants.

Over his MLB career, he’s averaging 1.05 strikeouts per inning against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pittsburgh batters are tied for second in the National League in striking out, averaging nine per game.
- Yu Darvish over 7.5 strikeouts (+100)
Baddoo Cooling Off
One of the best stories during the first week of the MLB season came from Detroit in the form of rookie outfielder Akil Baddoo. Picked up in the Rule 5 Draft, Baddoo homered on the first big-league pitch he saw. He clouted a grand slam in his second game and hit safely through his first four games.

Lately, though, he’s cooled off. Baddoo is hitless in his last two games, mired in an 0-for-7 slump. Perhaps the league has a book on the kid now.
- Akil Baddoo no hits (+115)
