  • The Los Angeles Dodgers will take on Atlanta Braves in Game 4 of the NLCS tonight at 8:08 PM EST.
  • The game will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
  • Are there some good team or player props for Game 4 that offer some value?

Game 4 of the NLCS goes tonight and while we’ve got a full breakdown of the Dodgers vs Braves odds in terms of the side and total, we’re going to take a look at some props here. The action gets underway at 8:08 PM EST with Clayton Kershaw facing off with Bryse Wilson.

Los Angeles Dodgers Team Total Odds

Dodgers Team Total In Game 4 Of The NLCS Odds
Over 5.5 +100
Under 5.5 -117

Dodgers Team Total Over 5.5

Game 3 felt like a cathartic experience for the Dodgers. Trailing 2-0 in the NLCS, they exploded for an 11-run first inning, putting the game away before the Braves even had their first at-bat. It took a while for their bats to get going as they had just one run in the first 15 innings of this series. They scored seven in the final three innings of Game 2 and exploded in Game 3.

Expect more of the same in Game 4 and for them to get over their team total. We’re looking at an over-under of 5.5 they should be able to get over that number. They’ll be facing a rookie in Bryse Wilson, who has only made two career starts. Even if he pitches well, he might not last long, so the Braves will have to turn to a bullpen that’s had to pitch a lot these last couple of days.

Pick: Over 5.5

Clayton Kershaw Strikeouts Odds

Total Clayton Kershaw Strikeouts In Game 4 Of The NLCS Odds
Over 6.5 +115
Under 6.5 -150

Kershaw was scratched from his Game 2 start to get some extra rest for his back. He gets the start tonight and hitting the over seems like a tall order here. The total sits at 6.5, which isn’t a small number. He has been at six or less in three of his last four outings. On the year, he’s had seven or more strikeouts just four times in 10 starts.

The slight concern here is that the Braves tend to swing and miss a lot at the plate. In the regular season, only two other teams had more strikeouts than the Braves. However, given Kershaw’s strikeout numbers this season and that he’s probably not completely 100%, under looks good.

Pick: Under 6.5 Strikeouts

Cody Bellinger RBI Odds

Cody Bellinger RBI’s In Game 4 Of The NLCS Odds
Over 0.5 -103
Under 0.5 -125

Bellinger had a shaky regular season but has come to life in the postseason. He’s batting .281 in the playoffs with eight RBI’s in his last six games. He’s had an RBI in five of his last six. Look for that trend to continue on Thursday when he goes up against Wilson, who hasn’t done so well against left-handed hitters.

On the year, opposing teams batted .286 against Wilson this season and lefties were especially challenging. They hit .429 against him and posted a 1.002 OPS and while the sample size is small (just 21 at-bats), those are concerning numbers. Look for Bellinger to knock in at least one run tonight.

Pick: Over 0.5 RBIs
