Prop #1: Sonny Gray Over 6.5 Strikeouts
The first prop to target is over 6.5 strikeouts for Reds starter Sonny Gray. Cincy’s number one starter has been fantastic in back-to-back starts, and has a 13.5 K/9 rate so far in 2021. He’s struck out 19 batters in his last 12.2 innings, and has fanned at least 6 hitters in four of his starts.

The only two games where he didn’t produce at least 7 strikeouts were starts where he didn’t make it out of the 5th inning, but going deep in today’s game shouldn’t be a problem versus a light hitting Pirates squad. Pittsburgh ranks 28th in runs per game, and 20th in hits.
Pick: Sonny Gray Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-172)
Prop #2: Jesse Winker 2+ Hits
The next prop to target is two or more hits for the Reds Jesse Winker. Cincy’s left fielder is on a tear recently, with 9 hits in his past five outings, and is fresh off back-to-back multi-hit outings. He leads the Reds in hits and average, and is batting .427 versus right-handed pitching this season.

That spells trouble for Pirates righty Trevor Cahill, who has been hit hard in two straight starts. He’s allowed 15 hits over his past 10.1 innings, and sports an ugly 6.75 ERA and 1.57 WHIP this season.
Pick: Jesse Winker 2+ Hits (+290)
Prop #3: Trea Turner 2+ Hits
Last not least, let’s see if Trea Turner can rack up his third straight multi-hit game. The 27-year-old enters play on Wednesday with six multi-hit outings in the last two weeks, and has crushed Philly starter Zack Wheeler in the past.

He’s a career .321 hitter against Wheeler, with 9 hits, a home run and 4 RBI. Wheeler has been excellent in 2021 so far, but it’s worth noting opponents are hitting .87 points higher versus him in road starts this season.
Pick: Trea Turner 2+ Hits (+150)
