Prop #1: Gerrit Cole Under 8.5 Strikeouts
The first prop to target is under 8.5 strikeouts for Cole. Let’s be clear. This is not a knock on Cole because he’s been simply fantastic this season. The 30-year-old is 4-1 so far, with a 1.42 ERA and 62 strikeouts in only 37 innings.

He’s worth every penny the Yankees are paying him, however expecting 9 strikeouts every outing is bit much to ask. Cole struck out only four Astros in his only career start versus his former club, and Houston is one of the most disciplined teams in all of MLB. They average only 7.3 strikeouts per game, which is the third lowest in the league.
Pick: Gerrit Cole Under 8.5 Strikeouts (-128)
Prop #2: J.D. Martinez 2+ Hits
The next prop to target is two or more hits for Red Sox slugger J.D. Martinez. Boston’s left fielder is hitting .349 to start the year, with 12 multi-hit games already on his resume.

Martinez, along with his Red Sox teammates, will face Detroit’s Spencer Turnbull on Thursday, who has been rocked in back-to-back starts. He’s allowed seven runs and 13 baserunners in his past 11 innings, and sports an ugly 7.20 ERA on the road this season.
Pick: J.D. Martinez 2+ Hits (+155)
