Piccolotti vs Barnaoui Odds and Prediction

Adam Piccolotti will be hoping to leave his families’ homeland with a victory on Saturday. However, the Italian-American may be lucky to simply walk out of the cage, as Mansour Barnaoui is a well-travelled knock out artist.

Piccolotti has fought in Bellator since 2015, racking up a 9-4 record with the promotion. In addition to his impressive offensive Brazilian jiu-jitsu, the California native has shown an improved striking repertoire in recent bouts. Intriguingly, notable wins over the likes of Georgi Karakhanyan and Brandon Girtz led Piccolotti to be the favorite when odds opened for this match-up. However, the line quickly turned in Mansour Barnaoui’s favor. Clearly, odds makers are onto something for Piccolotti versus Barnaoui.

Meanwhile, Barnaoui is making his Bellator debut after spending his career as an MMA nomad. He possesses outstanding power and has recently demonstrated a much improved ground game. Mansour Barnaoui has the ability to finish this fight with either hand. Additionally, the 30-year old French national is on an absolute tear inside the cage. Barnaoui has won his last seven fights in devastating fashion, finishing each of his opponents. Moreover, Barnaoui has won 18 of his 19 fights by knockout or submission.

Pick: Mansour Barnaoui to win (-136)

Fabian Edwards vs Charlie Ward Odds and Prediction

The brother of UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards, Fabian is 5-2 in his Bellator career. He will enter this one with all the confidence in the world after knocking out former UFC champion Lyoto Machida in his last bout.

Like his brother, Edwards has the speed and athleticism to electrify the Italian crowd on Saturday. Will he be able to match the excitement of Leon’s stunning finish of Kamaru Usman?

After being cut by the UFC, Charlie Ward has gone an impressive 7-1 inside in the Bellator cage. Ward is a durable striker who possesses a puncher’s chance. That being said, Fabian Edwards is a stylistically terrible match-up. Moreover, Edwards represents a significant step up in competition for the Irishman.

Charlie Ward is an incredibly tough fighter. However, Edwards’ athleticism advantage will prove to be the catalyst at Bellator 287. Take Edwards to win.

Pick: Fabian Edwards -500

Other Bellator 287 Picks

  • Justin Gonzales is a much better wrestler than Andrew Fisher. The American has fought higher-level competition, and he should have the cardio advantage in this clash. Bet Gonzales to win at -340.
