Only 12% of the teams that started the season 0-2 made it to the playoffs since 1990. With that said, it’s an important game for both the Steelers and the Bengals on Monday night, both of them lost in week one. The game is at Paul Brown Stadium at 8:30 PM ET.

Pittsburgh can’t forget the Bengals kicked them of the playoffs last season in week 16, which could be a payback situation; however, they have more problems in the present than in the past.  The Steelers lost to the Titans 16-9 in week one and looked horrible.

“We’ve got a lot of work to do,” coach Mike Tomlin said. “Nobody cares about our problems. They’re glad we’ve got them. We need to understand that. We need to stick together and persevere.”

Also, the Steelers will face ex-teammate linebacker James Harrison who’s now with the Bengals.  Cincinnati lost to the Bears 24-21 last week.

“I don’t have a chip on my shoulder against the Steelers,” Harrison said. “I don’t hate the Steelers. All the things they’re saying that the media is blowing it up to be … am I disappointed? Yeah, I’m disappointed.”

“We all know how James plays,” Tomlin said. “He brings physicality to the table, he’s a guy who brings great passion, and he can inspire his teammates.”

Cincinnati is 7-2-1 ATS in its last 10 games, but 1-10-1 ATS in its last 12 games when playing at home against Pittsburgh.

The Bengals are 7 point favorites for Monday Night with the game total set at 41 points.  The total has gone OVER in 4 of Pittsburgh’s last 5 games and in 4 of Cincinnati’s last 5.
