It was set from the start; the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers clash for the second year in a row for a spot in the NBA Finals.  Game one will be this Sunday at 3:30 PM ET at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, in a game broadcasted by ABC.

These two teams split the season series 2-2, but Indiana close the regular season with lots of doubts and they haven’t been able to shake it away in the postseason.

“I think we’re ready to go. … Excited to have another crack at them.” – Frank Vogel on Miami

“Everything is behind us, like we said when we started the playoffs, 33-7 means nothing. How we struggled down the stretch, and took a lot of criticism, that means nothing, that’s behind us and this is where we wanted to be, at the Conference Finals and a chance to move on.” – Frank Vogel on moving on.

Miami has been over the last three years, and have successfully advanced to the NBA finals all three years; they are the ones to beat in the NBA.

The Heat is preparing Udonis Haslem to go into the starting lineup to contain center Roy Hibbert.

“I got to work him,” Haslem said of Hibbert. “I got to make everything tough. I can’t give him anything easy. I’ve got to be ahead of every play. I got to be mentally and physically on top of it and it’s got to be a grind.”

The NBA betting lines for game 1 has the Miami Heat as 2 point favorites playing away from home.
