The Oklahoma City Thunder will try to continue with the best record in the NBA on Monday, January 27th, when they receive Atlanta Hawks in the Chesapeake Energy Arena, at 8 PM ET.

The Thunder comes into this game with eight straight wins and will try to get their number 20 at home. Scott Brooks’ team, with a record of 35-10, ranks first in the Western Conference, two games ahead of the San Antonio Spurs.

Kevin Durant, who is the leader in points per game this season averaging 31.1, will be looking for his eleventh consecutive game scoring 30 or more points.

The Atlanta Hawks have surprised so far and are in third place of the East Conference with a 23-20 record, only behind Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat. They are the number one in the league in assists per game (25.4) and 12th in scoring (102).

Atlanta’s defense has allowed an average of 101 points, ranking at 16th in the league, but the bad news for them is that the Thunder has scored less than 100 points just two times in their last 13 games.

The first meeting of this season between these two teams was at Philips Arena on December 10th, and the Thunder got the win by 101-92, with 30 points from Durant. Oklahoma City has won six of the last eight of the series.

The Hawks, who are led by center Al Horford with 18 points per game, have won back-to-back road games after winning just two of their previous 11 away home.
