The Indiana Pacers had a rocky end of the season, but they are huge favorites to win their first round series against the Atlanta Hawks.  Game one is this Saturday at 7 PM ET at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

“You know, I think that I should’ve kept my frustrations to myself or just in the locker room,” center Roy Hibbert said on ESPN.

“I will admit that it wasn’t the best thing to do. I’ll learn from that, and I was wrong. There are better ways to handle that than going to the media. All in all, I learned. I talked to my teammates; they talked to me. I’m willing to accept the criticism. It wasn’t the best thing to do.”

Despite the shaky end, the Pacers were pretty solid at home with a 35-6 home record during the regular season.

The Atlanta Hawks are the only team in the playoffs with a losing record; they finished the season with 111-103 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

“We feel like we are playing about as well as we have played all year for the most part. So the regular season is done, we will take a couple of days and get ready for Indiana,” forward Kyle Korver said.

The Pacers are 7.5 point favorites to win game one; plus, the game total was at 186 points. Indiana and Atlanta split the season series 2-2, but the Pacers eliminated the Hawks last season in the first round of the playoffs.
