  • There’s a powerful 9-game NBA slate awaiting bettors on Monday, December 13, 2021
  • A great way to get in on the action are NBA player props and they are everywhere tonight
  • See below to find out some of the best player props to bet on tonight

Monday could be the greatest night of our gambling lives. Nine NBA games, which means 18 NBA teams will be in action so the player prop market is sure to be on fire. All we have to do is find something to get behind which should be easy.

On thing that will make tonight great is the fact that we’ve got a nationally televised double header. NBA TV is the channel beginning at 7:00pm ET with the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers from Gainbridge Fieldhouse. When they’re done, we’ll head out to Los Angeles to see the Phoenix Suns take on Paul George and the Clippers. That’s at least six full hours of hoops that any gambler can get behind.

There are more unforeseen roster changes in the NBA than any other sport. Because of that, many books are reluctant to post player prop lines too early in the day. For that reason, not all of the teams in action tonight are included in the table below. Scroll down to see the lines that are available and a couple of best bets.

Odds as of Dec 13th at FanDuel & DraftKings

Jarrett Allen is a Beast

When I look for good NBA player props to hit, the first thing I look for is a big guy in a good matchup. If you give me a guy who does damage in the paint against a team that’s vulnerable there, then I’ll lay cash on him every single time. It just feels like the right thing to do.

That guy tonight is Jarrett Allen and his target is the Miami Heat.

The Miami Heat aren’t exactly a weak team in the paint. On the season, they’re number one in the NBA in opponents points in the paint. But most of those numbers are with Bam Adebayo patrolling the middle and he’s not there tonight. He’s out for 4-6 more weeks with a thumb injury.

Since he’s been out, Miami has been a sieve to opposing big men and most aren’t exactly scoring options. Myles Turner, Bobby Portis (twice) and Steven Adams have all had 17+point games against the Heat since Adebayo went down. Jarrett Allen himself has even taken advantage of the situation with a 19-point night in only 30 minutes on December 1st. I think Allen is a safe bet to do it again tonight.

  • The Pick: Jarrett Allen Over 16.5 points (-115)

Embiid is All the Way Back

It took a little while for Joel Embiid to start looking like Joel Embiid again but after his last five-game stretch, it appears that he’s all the way back. Embiid missed nine games because of the NBA COVID-19 protocols but returned on November 27th. He’s had big games mixed with some extremely inconsistent games but over the last week he’s looked like his old self.

Look at him just bully the Warriors last Saturday night:

Tonight the 76ers take on the Memphis Grizzlies which is a good matchup for Embiid. I don’t like going as high as 26 points for anyone but it’s hard to ignore Embiid’s ceiling here. The Grizzlies give up the third most points to opposing centers this season and are coming off a game where they allowed 54 points in the paint.

Embiid could have this early in the third quarter.

  • The Pick: Joel Embiid 25.5 points (-110)
