There are six games on the NBA schedule for April 13th. Among them, the Boston Celtics and Portland Trail Blazers matchup in what could be a significant game for both conferences.

The Heat and Suns also go head-to-head with Miami looking to make a late run for a top four seed in the Eastern Conference.

Several teams are without key players for Tuesday’s games, joining Anthony Davis and Victor Oladipo – who are still out long-term.

NBA Injury News – April 13th

  • [April 12th, 7pm EST:] Kawhi Leonard (sore right foot) is out for the Clippers vs Indiana
  • [April 12th, 6pm EST]: Fred VanVleet (hip) will not suit up vs Hawks. Trae Young is questionable for Atlanta

April 13th NBA Projected Starting Lineups

Hawks vs Raptors Projected Lineups

Hawks
VS
Raptors
Brandon Goodwin PG Kyle Lowry
Kevin Huerter SG DeAndre Bembry
Bogdan Bogdanovic SF Gary Trent Jr
Solomon Hill PF Pascal Siakam
Clint Capela C Chris Boucher
The Hawks have been decimated by injuries. Trae Young (calf) and Danilo Gallinari (foot) are questionable. Kris Dunn and John Collins (both ankle) are long-term absentees, as are Cam Reddish and De’Andre Hunter.

Hunter and Collins would both be in Atlanta’s first-choice starting five alongside Young and Capela. Toronto remains without star combo guard Fred VanVleet. Kyle Lowry returned from injury last time out.

Clippers vs Pacers Projected Lineups

Clippers
VS
Pacers
Reggie Jackson PG Malcolm Brogdon
Luke Kennard SG Caris LeVert
Paul George SF Edmond Sumner
Marcus Morris PF Justin Holiday
Ivica Zubac C Domantas Sabonis
The Clippers are without numerous starters. Kawhi Leonard sits out once again, while Patrick Beverley and Serge Ibaka remain on the sidelines. Ivica Zubac has been a more than capable deputy at the five, however, and Luke Kennard will relish the opportunity to start again.

A sprained ankle has kept Myles Turner out of three straight for the Pacers, and he’s expected to miss out again here. Domantas Sabonis will stick at center. Bubble sensation T.J. Warren is out for the year.

Lakers vs Hornets Projected Lineups

Lakers
VS
Hornets
Dennis Schroder PG Devonte’ Graham
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope SG Terry Rozier
Kyle Kuzma SF Jalen McDaniels
Markieff Morris PF Miles Bridges
Andre Drummond C P.J. Washington
Each team is missing key men for this one. LaMelo Ball (wrist) is out for the remainder of the regular season, and the Hornets are also without big-name offseason signing Gordon Hayward (foot) for several weeks. Jalen McDaniels and Devonte’ Graham have been inserted into the starting line-up as a result.

The Lakers have Andre Drummond back from an unpleasant toe injury, but they are still waiting for news on Anthony Davis (Achilles) and LeBron James (ankle).

Thunder vs Jazz Projected Lineups

Thunder
VS
Jazz
Theo Maledon PG Mike Conley
Luguentz Dort SG Donovan Mitchell
Kenrich Williams SF Royce O’Neale
Darius Bazley PF Bojan Bogdanovic
Moses Brown C Rudy Gobert
The tank job is in full flow with the Thunder. Al Horford is away from the team as they focus on younger players, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (foot) is out for the foreseeable future. Isaiah Roby (concussion), Mike Muscala (ankle) and Aleksej Pokusevski (arm) are all unavailable on Tuesday, too.

Mike Conley sat out Utah’s Monday loss to Washington for injury management, and should return here. Sixth Man of the Year frontrunner Jordan Clarkson is unlikely to play because of an ankle issue.

Celtics vs Trail Blazers Projected Lineups

Celtics
VS
Trail Blazers
Kemba Walker PG Damian Lillard
Marcus Smart SG CJ McCollum
Jaylen Brown SF Norm Powell
Jayson Tatum PF Robert Covington
Robert Williams C Jusuf Nurkic
Boston have their first choice starting five available. Sixth man Evan Fournier remains away from the team, however. Portland are still without Zach Collins, but Jusuf Nurkic and CJ McCollum have recently come back from injuries. The Blazers have carefully managed Nurkic’s workload, though he’s expected to get the start on Tuesday.

Heat vs Suns Projected Lineups

Heat
VS
Suns
Kendrick Nunn PG Chris Paul
Duncan Robinson SG Devin Booker
Jimmy Butler SF Mikal Bridges
Trevor Ariza PF Jae Crowder
Bam Adebayo C Deandre Ayton
Outside of Abdel Nader, Monty Williams has a healthy roster. Phoenix has enjoyed a relatively clean injury report for much of the season, enabling them to stick with their best starting lineup. Miami, in contrast, has faced disruption throughout the campaign. This has continued of late with Victor Oladipo sidelined once again – it’s unclear when the former Pacer will next be available.
