The NBA schedule is light for Tuesday with just six games, highlighted by the Eastern Conference-leading Brooklyn Nets playing Toronto Raptors at Amalie Arena in Tampa, the Raptors’ home for the COVID-19-impacted season.

The Nets (41-20) hold a one-game lead over the Philadelphia 76ers (40-21) in the conference standings and are favored over the Raptors.

Toronto (26-35) is in 12th place in the East but is still very much in the chase for a spot in the play-in tournament. The Raptors trail the 10th-place Washington Wizards (27-34) by one  game.

Here is a rundown of key injuries to be aware of Tuesday.

NBA Injury News – April 27th

  • The Celtics will be without two of their top players, Jayson Tatum (ankle) and Kemba Walker (side), as they host the Thunder
  • Rockets guard John Wall (hamstring) will not only sit out the home game with the Timberwolves but has been declared out for the remainder of the season
  • The Rockets are getting Christian Wood (ankle) and Kevin Porter Jr. (COVID-19 protocols) back for Tuesday’s game

The Pacers will again be without Domantas Sabonis (back) and Myles Turner (toe), who have been declared out. Both will miss their fifth straight games. Meanwhile, Jeremy Lamb (knee) and Goga Bitazde (ankle) are questionable for Indiana.

The Thunder’s Luguentz Dort (strained hip) is expected to play after sitting out the first game of a back-to-back Monday. Tony Bradley (sprained left ankle) is questionable, and Josh Hall (sore knee) won’t play.

Both Jayson Tatum (left ankle impingement) and Kemba Walker (strained left side) will sit out for the Celtics. Robert Williams (left knee soreness) is questionable.

Bruce Brown will sit out for Brooklyn because of right knee soreness. Alize Johnson and Nicolas Claxton will miss the game because of NBA health and safety protocols.

For the Raptors, Gary Trent Jr. (bruised lower left leg) and Paul Watson (left knee tendinitis) are questionable. Jalen Harris (hip inflammation) is doubtful.
