Leonard has reportedly narrowed his choice down to three teams: (1) the Toronto Raptors, whom he just just won the 2018-19 NBA title with, (2) the Los Angeles Lakers, and (3) the Los Angeles Clippers.

Following Leonard’s Destiny

ESPN’s Wojnarowski and Yahoo’s Haynes, the two betting favorites here, have been relatively quiet on the Kawhi front in terms of social media. Haynes hasn’t mentioned Leonard in a tweet since June 30. Other than to promote his podcast, Wojnarowski hasn’t spoke of Kawhi on Twitter since July 1.

Shams Charania of The Athletic has also been on Twitter silence regarding Kawhi since June 30.

Elsewhere, there’s been plenty of smoke but little fire.

A Toronto television station put a helicopter in the air to follow the SUV allegedly carrying Leonard from the airport to Tuesday’s meeting with the Raptors at a Toronto hotel.

Who Breaks It?

One fact is a virtual certainty – it won’t be Kawhi who breaks the news. He’s tweeted four times in total, the most recent one coming July 7, 2015.

You have to think Wojnarowski will be the guy. He broke the Kevin Durant/Kyrie Irving to the Nets story, so far the biggest free-agent splash of the summer.

After all, he’s the source that other media covering the story are using as their source.
