Bucks vs Warriors A Possible Finals Matchup

This contest between Milwaukee and Golden State could very well be a preview of what we see in NBA Finals in early June. Both teams have been and will continue to be serious contenders to come out of their conferences to fight for a league title.

Saturday’s marquee matchup in the NBA will be the second of two games between the Bucks and Warriors this season, with the first contest taking place Jan. 13th in Milwaukee.

That game resulted in the Bucks defending their home court with ease, taking down the Warriors 118-99 behind a 30-point, 12-rebound, 11-assist triple-double from Giannis Antetokounmpo.

In that game, Golden State surprisingly struggled shooting from the field, shooting just 34.7%. Milwaukee, on the other hand, finished with a 51.2% mark from the field behind 18 threes.

This matchup will continue to be an entertaining one between two of the top offenses and teams in the NBA overall, and it could end up ultimately being a preview of the NBA Finals to boot.

Milwaukee vs Golden State Recent Results

Coming down the home stretch of the regular season, both Milwaukee and Golden State have started to turn things up at just the right time. As they try to grab the best seed possible for the playoffs, both sides have been riding a recent winning wave that will feed into the entertainment factor of this rematch on Saturday.

The Bucks have been one of the hottest teams in the league as of late, coming into the game having won six in a row. Antetokounmp has been the leading force behind that success yet again, stepping up as of late to build on his MVP and career year averaging 29.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, six assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.1 steals.

Milwaukee is also a solid team on the road this season, holding a record of 18-13 away from home while entering Saturday having claimed five of its last six games on the road.

On the other side of things, Golden State has struggled in the last 10 games with a 3-7 record but is riding a two-game winning streak.

As the Warriors continue to get players healthy and back on the floor, they will continue to establish into a championship contender we’ve become to know. Or Stephen Curry could just rattle off 24 second-half points to cap off a 34-point performance like he did to light up the Nuggets on Thursday.

A key factor for Golden State on Saturday is the location of the game, as we know how tough the Warriors can be at home. They hold a record of 27-7 at home this season, having won seven of their last 10 at home.

Bucks vs Warriors Prediction

Milwaukee could use the extra day of rest to its advantage to go into San Francisco and take down Golden State in a close, back-and-forth contest.

For the best bet of the night, go with the over of 232 listed for this game. The Bucks have the third-best offensive rating in the NBA (114.7) and the Warriors hold the 10th-best (112.3), so this game should be a high-scoring affair.

  • The Pick: Over 232 (-110)
