Kyrie Irving (Celtics) +400
Khris Middleton (Bucks) +700

Odds taken on 04/24/19.

Antetokounmpo was relatively quiet, at least by his standards, during Milwaukee’s four-game sweep of the Detroit Pistons until Game 4.

He combined to scored 61 points, a per-game average of 20.3 points, during Games 1-3. Then he went off for a game-high 41 points in Game 4.

Giannis also netted a game-high 33 points in Milwaukee’s only loss to Boston. He averaged 27.7 points per game in three tilts against Boston and was Milwaukee’s leading scorer.

Irving topped the Celtics with 28 points in their lone victory this season over Milwaukee. He was Boston’s best shooter in the season series against the Bucks, averaging 23.8 points per game.

Pick: Antetokounmpo (-200)

When it comes to long-range shooting, oddsmakers are going the distance with Kyrie. Irving is favored to lead the series when it comes three-point field goals.

Irving shot 40.1% from beyond the arc this season, above his career average of 39.0. He made 42.7% in Boston’s sweep of the Pacers, hitting 11-of-26 from three-point range. He was also Boston’s top three-point shooter against the Bucks, making 40.1% of his long-range attempts.

The leading three-point shooter in the head-to-head series, though, played for the Bucks. Malcom Brogdon hit 42.6% from outside the arc.

But Brogdon has been out since mid-March with a plantar fascia tear in his right foot. His status for the second round should be clarified later this week.

Pick: Irving (+150)

Odds on Who Will Have the Highest Rebound Per Game Average

Who Will Average the Most Rebounds Per Game in the Series? Odds
Giannis Antetokounmpo (Bucks) -250

Giannis owned the boards when the Celtics and Bucks clashed this season and it wasn’t even a close contest. The Greek Freak pulled down an average of 12.5 rebounds per game in head-to-head meetings. That was also his season average.

Against the Pistons, Antetokounmpo grabbed 12 boards per game.

Boston’s top glass cleaner against the Bucks was Al Horford. He pulled down  just 6.7 rebounds per game. Horford had a team-high 10.3 rebounds per game during the first-round sweep of Indiana.

Pick: Antetokounmpo (-250)

Odds on Who Will Have the Highest Assists Per Game Average

Who Will Average the Most Assists Per Game in the Series? Odds
Kyrie Irving (Celtics) -160
Field +140

Irving was the top ball distributor as Boston swept the Pacers, averaging 7.8 assists per game. That was above his 2018-19 regular-season (6.9) and career (5.7) averages.

Kyrie also was a big help to Boston’s cause in confrontations with the Bucks this season. He dished out 6.9 assists per game against Milwaukee, tops among any player in the season series.

When it comes to assists, Antetokounmpo also brought his A-game to the floor against the Celtics this season. He delivered 5.9 assists per game to lead the Bucks. He distribution of the ball in the first round against Detroit was down, however. Giannis averaged just 3.5 assists per game in the sweep of the Pistons.

That number was below his career playoff average of 4.3 apg and well off his 2018-19 regular-season roll of 5.8 apg.

Pick: Irving (-160)
