  • Only five games will be played in the NBA Tuesday, December 21st 2021
  • One of those games is the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers at 10:00pm ET on TNT
  • See below to find out some of the best player props from that game to bet on tonight

It’s Tuesday night which means the NBA gets all the shine. Just kidding! Covid has forced the NBA to take a backseat to the NFL tonight but I’ll still be betting on our guys taking to the hardwood tonight. I think you should too. It’s the right thing to do.

We’re getting a doubleheader on TNT so it makes it a little easier to get down since we get to watch the games. I’m going to pass on the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat at 7:30pm ET which is the front half of the doubleheader but at 10:00pm ET we’re getting the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers. I’m all over that one people.

There are more unforeseen roster changes in the NBA than any other sport. Because of that, many books are reluctant to post player prop lines too early in the day. For that reason, players from both teams are not included in the table below. Scroll down to see the lines that are available and a couple of best bets.

Westbrook Plays Defense

I know we have a nice table above this just full of all kinds of offensive props but I think it’s time we see how the other side lives. I’m talking defensive props people. Not steals though, just blocks. There’s something about watching and entire NBA game just hoping for a block.

When you actually get the block, the feeling is unmatched.

Russell Westbrook really isn’t a block guy but if he was we wouldn’t be getting +205 on him tonight. The thing is, he’s blocked three shots in his last two games. He’s a regular Hakeem Olajuwon these days people.

Tonight he’s getting matched up with the Phoenix Suns whom he has to hate. The Suns are good and the Lakers aren’t and everyone hates the good teams when they are on a bad team. It’s how team sports work. The last time these teams played, Russ swatted Deandre Ayton less than a minute into the game. I bet he gets a block at some point tonight.

  • The Pick: Russell Westbrook Over 0.5 Blocks (+205) at DraftKings

Paul With a Swat?

Chris Paul is a do everything type guard. Watch one game, even at his age now, and you will see the guy fill up the stat sheet every way imaginable. Points, assists and rebounds, they guy is willing to do it all. But one realm we can’t forget about is the defensive statistics because Paul can get his there as well.

Yes, I’m saying he can block shots too.

CP3 has might be friends with LeBron James but you know he has to love the fact that the Suns are good and the Lakers stink. That’s how true friendship works. The thing about this is, LeBron has nothing to do with this play. It’s all about Isaiah Thomas.

Isaiah Thomas is 5’9″ tall people. That’s like four feet in the NBA. If you’ve ever played even a little basketball in your life, then you know the feeling you get when you see someone way shorter than you step onto the floor. If you have any competitive juice flowing in your body, you want to throw one of his/her shots into the seats. That’s just how competition works.

Thomas is looking like he’ll play big minutes tonight as he just started and gave 32 last time out. He didn’t get blocked against the Bulls but most of those guys are just getting over Covid. However, Patrick Beverley swatted him in his first game back (Beverley has Covid too). It’s not crazy to thing Paul gets him tonight and it’s definitely worth a +295 bet.

  • The Pick: Chris Paul Over 0.5 blocks (+295) * DraftKings
