  • We’ve got eight games on the NBA docket for Tuesday, December 28th 2021
  • NBA TV will be showing two of the eight games beginning with the Washington Wizards and Miami Heat at 7:30pm ET
  • See below to find out some of the best player props to bet on tonight

It’s Tuesday night and bettors have a sweet, sweet eight-game NBA slate to pick through. Between bowl games, college hoops and the association, we’re going to be flushed with action. Today is a great day to be alive!

What’s even better is we’re getting two of these NBA games beamed into our homes courtesy of NBA TV. First, we’ll see Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards take on Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat at 7:30pm ET. When they wrap up, it’ll be the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors in our living rooms at 10:00pm ET.

There are more unforeseen roster changes in the NBA than any other sport. Because of that, many books are reluctant to post player prop lines too early in the day. For that reason, not all of the teams in action tonight are included in the table below. Scroll down to see the lines that are available and a couple of best bets.

Revenge for Westbrook

Guys tend to play their former teams with a little something extra in the tank. Most of them never admit it, but they do. It makes sense when you think about it. Most of us will never get to go up against our former employer in a competitive public setting but if we had the chance, we’d probably go a little harder.

The thing is, the “playing in Houston tonight” narrative is only one of the things driving Westbrook tonight.

Listening to that guy talk makes me think he is beyond pissed at this point with the state of the Los Angeles Lakers. Is some of it his fault? Probably. But who cares? We’re betting what’s going to happen tonight and I think he’s going to play with a even more rage than he normally plays with. We want motivated guys and he checks that box.

At the moment, he’s in decent form and we’re getting a good points total given the number of shots Westbrook is taking. Since Anthony Davis went down, Westbrook has taken at least 19 shots in every game. Due to the increase in volume, he’s managed to score at least 20 points in three of the four outings. Call me crazy but I think he’s a decent bet to score at least 21 points tonight in Houston.

  • The Pick: Russell Westbrook Over 20.5 Points (-115)

Haliburton Cleans Glass

I am not a big rebound prop bet guy but I love the plus money moves so I’m conflicted here. Think about it, we’re basically betting whether or not a ball will bounce to a certain player a certain amount of times in a game. That feels like it’s hard to predict.

But with guys like Tyrese Haliburton that play multiple positions, sometimes it’s just a matter of figuring out what position he’ll be playing on a given night.

For a prop like this, we want Haliburton playing anywhere but point guard and that should happen tonight with De’Aaron Fox back in the lineup. Haliburton shifted back to the two-guard in Fox’s first game back from Covid last time out and pulled down five boards.

Tonight, the Kings get the Oklahoma City Thunder who are second worst in the NBA in shooting percentage. Missed shots equal rebounds and five isn’t a lot in an environment like tonight’s.

  • The Pick:  Tyrese Haliburton Over 4.5 rebounds (+110)
