Grizzlies Betting Outlook

Jaren Jackson Jr and Brandon Clarke both had 24 points and 10 rebounds Friday night in the rout of the Suns.

It was Jackson’s third double-double and eighth 20-point game of the season.

Clarke established a season-high in points as he went 10 for 10 at the free throw line and posted his fourth double-double of 2022-23. Clarke is fourth in the NBA in field goal percentage with a 65.2 mark.

After missing 18 games with a sprained right big toe, Desmond Bane scored 17 points in 24 minutes.

Dillon Brooks added 16 points, Ja Morant scored 12 – 15 below his average — and Santi Aldama chipped with 10.

Despite making just 4 of 14 field goal attempts, Morant still made a big impact as he finished with 11 assists and six rebounds. He is fifth in the league with 7.9 assists a game.

The Grizzled held a commanding 53-35 rebounds advantage over the Suns, who were missing star Devin Booker because of an injury.

Warriors Betting Outlook

Superstar guard Stephen Curry will miss his sixth straight game with a shoulder injury. He is averaging 30 points a game.

The Warriors were hoping to get Andrew Wiggins (groin) back for Christmas. Instead, he has been ruled out for the 11th game in a row.

JaMychal Green is expected to be inactive for the third game in a row while in the health and safety protocols.

One player who is expected to return is Donte DiVincenzo, who has been sidelined by a non-COVID illness.

Coach Steve Kerr emptied his bench early Wednesday and James Wiseman responded with a career-high 30 points. The third-year center was 12 of 14 from the floor.

Moses Moody and rookie Patrick Baldwin Jr. had 17 points each and Ty Jerome contributed 14 points and seven assists. Jordan Poole had 13 points but was 1 of 11 on three-pointers and committed seven turnovers.

The Warriors allowed the Nets to shoot 64.3% (54 of 84) overall and 63.6% (21 of 33) from distance. Golden State also had 21 turnovers that resulted in 36 points for Brooklyn.

Grizzlies vs Warriors Prediction

This is the teams’ first meeting since the Warriors beat the Grizzlies in six games in a chippy Western Conference semifinal series last season. Prior to that series, Memphis had won four of five games against Golden State.

The Warriors are a much different team at home than on the road. However, as bad as Golden State looked on its road trip, the Grizzlies are the play here.

Pick: Grizzlies -6.5 (-110)

Season record: 3-0 (+3.0 units) ATS
