The NBA schedule is loaded on Wednesday night with a full slate of games for bettors have a look at, and a few early season injuries could provide value in some under-the-radar matchups.

The biggest game on the docket is between the top team in each conference, as the Los Angeles Lakers tip off against the Philadelphia 76ers. Anthony Davis has only scored more than 24 points once in his last seven games, but sportsbooks are looking at him to get within that total on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Tobias Harris has been hot for Philadelphia, and has made a trio of three-point buckets in each of his last three games, but his number to beat in that category tonight sits at just 1.5.

Big Night Ahead for Vooch

Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic has scored at least 24 points in seven of his last nine games. On Wednesday night, he goes up against a Sacramento Kings team that ranks dead last in the NBA in points allowed in the paint.

Vucevic isn’t a traditional post-up center that plays with his back to the basket, but of his shot selection this season, he’s taken the second-most attempts from between three and ten feet away from the hoop. His biggest shot share comes from beyond the arc, where he has made 43-percent of his three-pointers this season.

Among all centers, Vucevic ranks fourth in usage, and Sacramento has allowed the fourth-most made three-point attempts per game so far this season. Charlotte has allowed the third-most, which the Magic just wrapped up back-to-back games against. In the first of those two, Vucevic had one of his worst shooting performances of the season, but he still drained two of his five three-pointers. He made four-of-seven the following night against the Hornets as part of a 28-point outing.

At 23.5 total points and 2.5 three-pointers made, the opportunity is high for Vucevic to hit the over in both of those categories at -108 and +126 odds, respectively. The Magic have been starved a bit for consistent scoring options as the team has struggled to overcome injuries to a number of key players, but Vucevic getting his shots has been a constant.

  • The Pick: Vucevic Over 23.5 Points (-108)

Ayton Looking to Eat Against OKC

Star Phoenix Suns guard Devon Booker missed his team’s last game against Denver and has been scratched for tonight’s matchup with Oklahoma City. Suns center Deandre Ayton wasn’t able to turn Booker’s absence into extra scoring opportunities against the Nuggets his last time out, but he’ll have a better chance to do so against the Thunder.

Oklahoma City has allowed the fourth-most points in the paint this season, and the greatest portion of Ayton’s shot share comes at the rim. Ayton has shot 64-percent from the field at home, and the Suns have had three days off since their last game. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City has lost five of their last seven games and Phoenix is the last of a gruelling five-game road trip.

The Thunder have also allowed he fifth most rebounds to opponents, and Ayton has had at least 13 per game in seven of his last eight. The chance that he goes over his projected point total of 17.5 is good, but as the best big man between both teams, Ayton seems more likely to pull down more than 11.5 rebounds.

  • The Pick: Ayton Over 11.5 Rebounds (-110)

Go For It With Murray

Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray isn’t exactly a prolific three-point shooter. In fact, he’s shooting under his career average from three this season.

However, the Nuggets are in Miami tonight and take on a Heat team that can pour in shots from distance. Denver might find itself in a shootout on South Beach, and the Heat have allowed the second-most three-pointers made by opponents this season. After he jacked up 11 three-point attempts on January 17 against Utah, Murray fell into a slump in his next two games and went a combined 0-for-8 from beyond the arc.

He’s been better in his last two, and has made good on 5-of-11 from three against Phoenix and Dallas. He isn’t a sure thing to hit more than 2.5 on Wednesday night, but at +122, against a team that should give him open looks, he might be worth rolling the dice on.

  • The Pick: Murray Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+122)
