The Jazz set a franchise record with 26 3-point field goals, including seven by Bojan Bogdanovic, as they beat the Hornets 138-121 on Friday night in Charlotte. Utah was an eight-point favorite.

Bogdanovic helped the Jazz keep rolling as he scored at least 20 points for the fourth time in five games. He is averaging 26.2 points during that span while shooting 58.5% (24-of-41) from long range.
Donovan Mitchell added 30 points and five steals. It was Mitchell’s fifth game of the season with at least 30. He was 5-of-9 from 3-point range as the Jazz made 52% of their shots from beyond the arc.
Utah leads the NBA in 3s made (17.1) and attempted (42.1) per game and their 40.7% shooting from long range is second.
The Jazz had 32 assists on their 48 field goals. Joe Ingles had 11 dimes.
Rudy Gobert finished with 12 points and 17 rebounds for his 16th double-double this season.
Mike Conley left the game with tightness in his hamstring after playing 22 minutes and is doubtful for Sunday. He leads the Jazz with 5.8 assists a game and has a 16.5 scoring average.
McConnell Shines in Pacers’ Loss
The bench nearly rallied the Pacers to victory Friday night before they fell 114-113 at home to the New Orleans Pelicans as a one-point favorite.
With his team trailing by 11 points at the end of the third quarter, coach Nate Bjorkgren went to his bench. The reserves helped Indiana move ahead by one point with 4:02 remaining but the Pelicans pulled out the win despite being outscored 38-28 in the final period.
T.J. McConnell was particularly effective off the pine, as he had nine points and a season-high 15 assists in 28 minutes. The quick point guard has 27 assists in the last two games after averaging 5.9 in his first 18 games this season.

Justin Holiday scored a season-high 22 points, including seven 3-pointers. Jeremy Lamb knocked down each of his three tries from beyond the arc as he finished with 17 points.
Doug McDermott (14), Malcom Brogdon (13) and Myles Turner (12) also scored in double figures.
The Pacers nearly won despite leading scorer Domantas Sabonis having a season-low eight points on 3-of-13 shooting. He sat out the fourth quarter. Sabonis scored in single digits for just the third time in 85 games over the last two seasons.

Sabonis’ clunker came two nights after he scored a career-high 33 points in a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. He is averaging 21.0 points a game.
Jazz Won Big Last Time
The Pacers had won three in a row in the series and five of the last six games before being routed 118-88 on the road by the Jazz, who were 7.5-point favorites, on Jan. 20, 2020 in the last meeting between the teams.
Utah dominated the game as it shot 54% and outrebounded Indiana 53-30. Mitchell scored a game-high 25 points while Gobert had 20 points and 14 rebounds and Bogdanovic finished with 16 points.
Sabonis and Holiday had 12 points each to lead the Pacers and Sabonis had six steals.
Look for the red-hot Jazz to roll again against the struggling Pacers.
