Collin Sexton Playing Like a Star
One player that has taken a giant leap forward this season is Collin Sexton. It’s been a steady climb for Sexton as he has been better in every statistical category in each of his first two years. It’s just that this season, he has been been other-worldly on multiple occasions ever since he dropped 42 on the Nets back in January.
one of if not the best individuals performances of the season.

The Sacramento Kings are dead last in the NBA in defensive efficiency this season. Even though they have been better recently, in their last game they turned in another absolute stinker. At first glance, it seems fine because it was to the first placed team in the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia 76ers.
The issue is, the 76ers were playing without both Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons and still diced up the Kings’ defense.
Shake Milton went for 28 points, which is a bad sign for a team that is about to see the likes of Collin Sexton. He could be in for a huge night at home as the alpha for a four-point underdog.
- The Pick: Collin Sexton Over 33.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
DeMar Does it All
DeMar DeRozan has been known more for his scoring since coming into the league in 2009, but things have changed recently. He has been facilitating the Spurs’ offense and been more of a distributer – which has worked well for San Antonio.
In his past three games, he has cracked double digits in the assist column twice while also scoring 20-plus points in all three games. Even after sitting out four games, he looked as if he didn’t miss a beat in his first game back against Cleveland on Friday.
The Charlotte Hornets are in town tonight and they have been a train wreck defensively. They are worst in the NBA in defensive efficiency over the last three games and only four teams are worse in the metric in road games on the season.
They are second worst in the league in opponent assist per field goal made to only the Toronto Raptors, which sets up perfectly for what bettors will be looking for out of DeRozan. He could fly over his points plus assist number even in a blowout.
- The Pick: DeMar DeRozan Over 27.5 Points + Assists (-120)
