Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks face a serious uphill battle on Sunday at home as they look to come back from a 0-2 hole after back-to-back losses in the Bay Area. The Mavs had a clear chance to win Game 2 on Friday but a sloppy second half allowed the Dubs to dominate and snatch another win at the Chase Center.

But, after such an electric game, there are some valuable player props that should come into play in Game 3. Find the best bets below.

Steph Gets Hot From Deep Again

Stephen Curry was on point in Game 3, scoring 32 points en route to leading the Dubs to a comeback victory. While he made an impact in a number of ways, Steph really flourished from deep.

The Warriors star shot 6 for 10, hitting numerous clutch triples. He’s shooting just 37% from long range in these playoffs, but Friday was certainly one of his more efficient performances. In fact, Curry has hit the over in three of his last five outings, also going 6 for 17 in Game 6 against the Grizzlies.

This is the best shooter in the history of the NBA we’re talking about. Curry is a sniper and it really wouldn’t be a surprise to see him chuck up 10 or more treys in Game 3. The over/under is set at 3.5 here and after draining six in two of his previous three appearances, I like the value.

Pick: Stephen Curry Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (-136)

Brunson Continues to Support Luka

The storyline of this series so far for Dallas has been the lack of help for Doncic. The shooters did get hot in the first half on Friday, but it was the polar opposite in the final two quarters. One player who did step up however was Jalen Brunson. He showed out for 31 points alongside Luka in the Mavs backcourt.

Brunson continues to prove he deserves a healthy payday this summer. The guard is averaging 22.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 15 postseason games while shooting 46% from the field. His handle, footwork, and ability to get inside were on full display in Game 3, picking apart Golden State’s defense with his mid-range brilliance. Although Brunson did convert some triples as well, the focus here is his overall scoring output.

The former Villanova standout has hit the over in points in two of his last three contests, scoring 24 in the Game 7 blowout vs. Phoenix, too. The only way the Mavs have a chance to get back into this series is if the supporting cast rises to the occasion, which means more than just Brunson. But, I do believe you’ll see him ball out on Sunday and easily cash in the over 20.5 points.

Pick: Jalen Brunson Over 20.5 Points (-106)
