A national television audience will see the Golden State Warriors take on the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York Tuesday night on TNT (7:30pm ET).

Both teams are coming into this one hot as the Warriors sit atop the Western Conference at 11-2 and winners of six of their last seven games. Meanwhile, the Nets are in third place but climbing the standings after winning their last three games. Missing one of their top players in Kyrie Irving has not been ideal but they are making the best of the situation.

Golden State has won seven of the last 10 meetings between these two teams but Brooklyn has won each of the last three battles. It’s worth mentioning that the Nets have covered in seven of the last eight games in this series. The most current odds show the Nets as 3-point favorites in this matchup, and there are more than enough props to consider.

Revenge for Kevin Durant

We all know that Kevin Durant went to the Golden State Warriors in 2016 and won two rings in a few years with the franchise. He was called a front-runner (and other things) for joining a team that went 73-9 the year before but still, he has rings now. Even if many people think they don’t count (they do).

Fast forward to today, and Durant now has his “own” team where he isn’t second fiddle to Steph Curry (he never really was). It’s working out pretty well for him in the scoring department.

Durant is the best scorer in the NBA in my opinion and him being at the top of the scorers list pretty much proves it. That’s just how statistics work. It’s hard to even argue another player being a better pure scorer.

If you’ve followed Durant on social media you know he listens to everything people say about him. It’s very hard to imagine him not wanting to stick it to the Warriors tonight on TNT. I think that will lead to him taking 22+ shots tonight. He’s done that four times this year and scored over 31 points in three of those games. It’s KD night tonight.

  • The Pick: Kevin Durant Over  30.5 points (-112)

Although Brooklyn residents can’t yet bet this Durant prop in their state, New York sports betting is going to launch online very soon.

Blake Griffin Drops Dimes

It’s pretty obvious that Blake Griffin is at the end of the road in terms of his NBA career. The days of him jumping over cars and dunking basketballs are over, but he can still ball. One thing that he can still do is pass the rock.

Over the last couple years, he’s been dropping low-key highlight reel passes.

Griffen has played seven games in the month of November. In those seven games, he’s dropped at least three dimes in six of them. The one game he didn’t was in a 33-point beatdown of the Orlando Magic. He only played 18 minutes that night but still had two helpers. I think he gets at least three assists tonight.

  • The Pick: Blake Griffin Over  2.5 assists (+140)
